
Samantha Paton - Managing Director
Samantha Paton founded Isolated Heroes in 2012 and quickly became one of Scotland’s leading fashion brands. The original sass queen's infectious personality and transparency with customers has gained a loyal following across the globe. Isolated Heroes currently boast a 60% UK customer and a 40% international customer audience base. Customer relationship building has been key to business growth and Samantha is proud to have created a strong creative community of clients who now call themselves the #SequinSquad with a 40% return customer rate.

The Production Team

Christie Wanless - Production Manager
Christie is the longest standing member of the #SequinSquad, starting as an intern with Isolated Heroes in 2015 she has worked her way up with hard work and passion to the position of production manager. She is our production Queen and Sam’s right hand! The Yin to her Yang! Christie is a qualified fashion technologist and is in charge of bringing the design team's scribbles and sketches into a reality. She makes sure our garments are durable, wearable and that you're going to feel amazing in them! When she's not organizing the production room, she's working on special client and celebrity projects. Christie is our studio DJ and the studio night out planner! You will normally find her on our insta stories in the middle of a rap battle or doing a crazy dance.

Megan Mckay - Senior Production Assistant
Megan is a multi-tasking queen! She spends half her week as a senior production assistant at Isolated Heroes and the other half working on her own brand Little Peril. Megan is super hard working and incredibly talented. Her job as a senior production member includes developing and grading new patterns, working on new season samples and manufacturing our detailed customer orders. Megan is passionate about sustainability and ethically made clothing - we love her values and they align perfectly with Isolated Heroes.

Katrina Lindsay - Senior Production Team
Kat is our textile queen! As a freelance senior production assistant, Kat spends her days developing new samples and working on customer orders. Kat loves a design challenge and the bigger the better! She has been involved in creating some of our most stand out pieces from runway collection to celebrity client briefs and sequin sweaters. Kat is our resident Dr Dolittle with a heart of gold! When she's not in the studio you can find her looking after guinea pigs, ducks and her dog Mutley.

Cerrys Duke - Junior Production Assistant
Cerrys is our gem in the production team! A graduate from the Kindred Clothing charity programme that Isolated Heroes are heavily involved in, Cerrys started in the company with zero sewing experience on a kickstart placement and is now one of our most promising members of our production team. Cerrys is unbelievably talented and hard working, she works on multiple Isolated Heroes projects at any one time from customer orders to large retail projects and wholesale stockists. Cerrys is a fantastic teacher and you can often find her on our weekend workshops! When she’s not in the studio shes spending time with her young daughter Layla.

Hannah Watson - Junior Production Assistant
Hannah is our Accessories Queen! A graduate from Kindred Clothing, Hannah completed her Kickstart internship at Isolated Heroes and then was offered a full time production assistant position within the company. Hannah’s job role consists of working to budgets and designing our range of entry level products and zero waste accessories which sit alongside each collection. Hannah loves meeting our customers at pop ups and retail events and hustling making sales. Hannah is one hard working mama and when she’s not in Isolated Heroes she’s teaching in her second job or spending time with her five year old Grace.

The Creative Team

Kitty Tang - Creative Operations and Communications Executive
Kitty is our creative communications executive. Working side by side with Sam in the creative suite, Kitty is the woman bringing all of our content dreams to life. Kitty is in charge of planning content across all of our social channels and maximizing sales! She works closely with our managing director on implementing marketing around our sales strategies and ensuring our brand values are at the forefront of all of our creative comms. When she’s not in marketing meetings Kitty is creating reels, styling, planning photo shoots, editing and managing the comms team.

Tina Tang - Logistics and Distribution
Tina is our organization queen! She started as a seasonal temp and we never let her leave. Tina heads up our logistics and distribution and makes sure all of our customer orders arrive safely with our sequin squad. When Tina isn't packing and preparing our orders she is working on planning our retail event stock, organizing wholesale and updating all of our spreadsheets. Tina is super talented and also works on digital creative briefs designing graphics for packaging and printed marketing.
Our Amazing Interns
At Isolated Heroes we are passionate about providing a ladder of opportunity to others in the creative sector and providing an all important employment funnel in the Scottish Fashion Industry! Due to our studio size we can only ever work with two interns at one time in our creative suite. We LOVE working with Fashion communications, fashion tech and marketing / management students! Laura - Communications Intern
Fashion Management - Year 3
Robert Gordon University Aberdeen
Laura interned with us for a 12 week placement and mainly focused on writing blog posts, scheduling facebook posts, mailchimp newsletters,and assisted with the occasional photoshoot and pop ups too! After her placement ended, we were extremely impressed with her work and decided to bring her back to work with us once a week! Laura is always up for learning something new and it’s great to see her enthusiasm & willingness to learn and grow.

Phoebe - Communications Intern

Phoebe is our comms intern and she went straight into assisting our first campaign of the year on her first day with us which she did a fabulous job of. Phoebe's day to day in the IH studio consists of making fabulous moodboards, assisting with photoshoots and behind the scene content, and also helping out at our pop up events too! She is a joy to work with and we love seeing her in her element!

Rachel - Communications Intern
International Fashion Branding - Year 3
Caledonian University Glasgow
Rachel is our most recent addition to the IH creative team but it seems like she’s been here since day one! We love how engaged and involved with the brand Rachel is, and it’s so nice to hear that she’s an existing IH customer too. Rachel’s copywriting skills are fabulous, so her day to day consists of facebook scheduling, writing SEO’s and making product listings. Rachel is a confident speaker too so she is great in front of the camera doing content with Sam.
