We love kicking off a pop up with a sequin squad party!

This launch was super special cause we got to share it with five other amazing independent, female founded brands!

We were joined by the fabulous DJ Pearl Necklace providing the soundtrack for the evening and The Gin Bothy were serving up delicious cocktails to the sequin squad!
Taking the opportunity to share the amazing Princes Square space with brands we knew our Isolated Heroes customers would love was super special to us. We believe in empowering women and it is important to us to share our platform with other female founded brands.
If you missed them at the pop up, meet the brands that joined us over the opening weekend:

Little Peril Studio

Megan is a Fashion graduate from Heriot Watt. Not long after graduating, she started her business Little Peril Studio. It is home to a range of dreamy slow fashion essentials made from up-cycled, recycled, reused and sustainable new materials. Zero waste is the goal, everything from packaging to production is designed and curated to the highest ethical standard.

Joyful fashion shouldn’t cost the planet!

Connie Devine

Connie Devine is a designer based in Dundee, Scotland. Connie started her own slow fashion brand in 2020. It is her goal to create timeless pieces that can be worn time and time again, styled different ways and to create designs that cannot be found on the high street. All fabrics are designed by Connie herself and then screen printed locally to create unique fabrics not found anywhere else!

Sew Sweet Furball

Kat is a current member of the Isolated Heroes senior production team and is now starting up her own brand! We are so proud!! As an RGU Gray's School of Art graduate Kat has a great knowledge of fabrics & how they are produced. Kat creates accessories that stand out from the crowd.

Pure Barkin

Pure Barkin is creating sexy, slow fashion, in Scotland. Pure Barkin is a print & graphics heavy brand, created by Printed Textile Design graduate, Jenny McDonald in 2020. Inspired by punk roots, the brand explores thoughts, feelings and identity through a grunge, handmade style. The brand blends diary entries, photography, illustration and a tongue-in-cheek sense of humour to create a kitsch, edgy and recognisable image.

Jo-AMI

Established in 2019 by Scottish MA Knitwear designer, Jolene Guthrie. Jo-AMI aims to promote the iconic Scottish  knitwear industry, by creating garments and accessories that are cool, comfy and considered. Jo-AMI designs retain key Scottish nostalgic traits but developed into stylish pieces for the modern day customer.

We hope you loved the launch party and meeting these awesome new brands sequin squad! We always love to see you in your sparkles and help you find the Isolated Heroes piece of your dreams.
